We work with clients of all ages. Many come to us when they're navigating anxiety, life transitions, family challenges, or simply when they need extra support and guidance.

Sessions are scheduled at the same time each week so you can count on having a consistent, dedicated space just for you. Sessions are about 50 minutes long. The overall length of treatment varies — we’ll never rush you to end before you feel ready. Your goals guide the process. For child clients, we also meet with parents monthly in addition to weekly sessions with the child.

The first step is a phone call with our intake coordinator. During that call, we’ll review details about services, answer your questions, and set up your ongoing weekly session time. By the end of that call, you’ll know exactly what to expect. For child clients, we also schedule monthly check-ins with parents and the child’s therapist.

We do our best to match you with a therapist who feels like the right fit for you. Each therapist brings unique strengths, and reviewing their bios before your intake call can be helpful. While every therapist has their own style, all have received similar training and share our core values as a practice. That way, you can expect consistent, high-quality care across our team.

Play is a child’s language. Since young children are still learning how to put words to their emotions and experiences, they often express themselves through play. In therapy, toys become their words and play becomes their way of communicating.

For adolescents and teens, language skills are more developed, but communicating emotions and needs can still be difficult. We use creative, age-appropriate therapy techniques that help teens open up and thrive in counseling.

Parents are often surprised when they ask their child what they did in therapy and hear, “We played!” While it may look like playtime, important work is happening: building skills, learning to regulate emotions, and expressing feelings in healthy ways. At every step, parents can expect safety, trust, and consistency from our team — and a deep respect for your child and family.

A strong therapeutic relationship is built on trust and comfort. To help foster that, our process includes 2–3 initial sessions where you and your therapist can get to know each other. From the very first phone call with our intake coordinator, we focus on matching you with someone who can best support your needs. Relationships are at the core of who we are as humans. Attachment — how we connect with others — often begins with our earliest experiences and influences how we approach relationships throughout life. Sometimes those experiences shape what we want to avoid; other times they show us what feels like home. By exploring attachment, we can build more secure, fulfilling relationships in the future and even heal or strengthen the ones we have now.

Yes. We offer Out-of-Network (PPO) services and can provide a Superbill (a statement showing services provided) that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. We also offer sliding scale fees, which are arranged before therapy begins and are based on income and financial need.
