with bridges to understanding

YOUR THERAPY EXPERIENCE

No two people – or families – are the same. That’s why therapy here isn’t one-size-fits-all.

Together, we’ll look at what you need support with and decide the best approach to help you or your family feel more grounded, connected, and understood.

WE offer:

  • Individual therapy for adults, teens, and children

  • Family counseling for relationship challenges or home dynamics

  • Couples counseling for partners navigating changes, trust issues, or communication struggles

  • Parenting support (one-on-one or with partners)

curious about how we got started?

We always start with a simple assessment to figure out what you need, who should be in the room, and how we’ll navigate the process together. Then, all clients start with weekly sessions.

Individual therapy is often the primary way we begin, giving you focused time to process emotions, heal, and learn new tools.

Family therapy services

Families are where we embrace connection, and they’re also where stress and conflict can show up. As professional therapists, we believe family work can be just as important as individual counseling, sometimes more so.

In family therapy, we help you:

  • Strengthen relationships between parents, children, and even adult children/their parents.

  • Learn practical ways to reduce stress and create healthier daily interactions.

  • Practice new communication strategies you can use between sessions.

we know repair can happen at any age

Sometimes sessions are with the whole family, sometimes with just parents or just the child. Our goal is always the same: more connection, less stress, and a home that feels calmer for everyone.

CHILD AND TEEN THERAPY SERVICES

Children and teens don’t always have the words to say what they feel. That’s where play therapy and creative approaches come in.

For young children: Play is their natural language. Through toys and activities, we help them learn and understand emotions, build coping skills, and feel safer inside themselves.

For teens: Even with more knowledge in communication, many still struggle to express what they need. We use age-appropriate tools and strategies that help them open up, manage stress, and feel understood.

we help you find the path forward

Sessions focus on what’s happening right now while also exploring how past experiences shape the way you show up in your relationship. Together, we’ll help you and your partner create a clear, hopeful path forward.

trauma and community support

Our Sonoma County neighbors and community has endured so much in recent years – from wildfires and a global pandemic, to the lingering effects of collective trauma. These experiences have shaped marriages, families, and children in ways we’re still uncovering.

If you notice anxiety during certain seasons, relationship strain, or your child struggles socially or emotionally, you’re not alone. We’re here to help you process what you’ve been through and build tools to feel safer and more grounded, even when the world feels uncertain.

testing services

Testing services can help you better understand how your mind works – your strengths, challenges, and everything in between. Through a mix of assessments, we look at areas like attention, memory, learning, and social-emotional functioning.

For children, this insight can support school services, learning plans, or even decisions around medication management. For adults, it can bring clarity to long-standing questions and point toward strategies that make daily life easier.

curious about our evaluations?

We offer specialized testing for kids, teens, and adults in areas like ADHD, Autism Spectrum, and more. Our goal is simple: to give you answers, demystify the process, and provide a clear path forward. We’ll also collaborate with your school, therapist, or doctor to ensure you have the right support system in place.

At its heart, an evaluation isn’t just a diagnostic tool – it’s a guide to help you feel more confident, capable, and understood.

neurodivergence support

We celebrate all the ways people experience the world. Whether you or your child are navigating ADHD, autism, sensory sensitivities, or other forms of neurodivergence, we provide compassionate, personalized strategies to help you thrive.

For parents, we understand the extra emotional labor – IEPs, appointments, and public misunderstandings. This practice was built with that awareness, and you’ll find a place here where your family feels seen, supported, and understood.

parenting relationships

Many parents say, “I don’t want to raise my child the way I was raised.” Yet, under stress, old patterns come out. That’s not failure. It’s proof you are, in fact, experiencing a common human condition.

We help parents:

  • Understand their own triggers and childhood experiences

  • Break cycles of hurt or reactive parenting

  • Build secure, compassionate connections with their kids

recognize and heal old patterns

The attachment styles we learned in childhood shape not just parenting but also our adult relationships. Therapy can help you recognize those patterns, heal them, and create the relationships you want today.
